How do I clean the filter cloths with Sodium chloride or Hydrochloric Acid?

• After washing the cloths with jet with fresh water. Dip the cloths or bags in a chemical mixture, at a maximum temperature of  40 °c to 50 °c, containing the following substances:

For  fabrics in POLYPROPYLENE and POLYESTER

We recommend a mixture containing:

1. 5 to 10% of commercial HCL acid (about 33% concentration) or
2. 3% of NaCL .
3. The addition of a detergent can improve the regeneration of the media. (Optional)

For fabrics in POLYAMIDE

We recommend a mixture containing:

1. 3 to 5% of commercial HCL acid (about 33% concentration) or
2. maximum 3% of NaCL.
3. The addition of a detergent can improve the regeneration of the media. (Optional)

• Leave them in water until the full emptying of the solution, i.e. until the end of the effervescence effect. If needed, renew water with the same mixture for a second dip.
• Never add acid in the solution containing already the cloths.
• Rinse with clear and cold water.
• Let dry in open air if stocking.
• Avoid any heat source.
• Before their fitting in the filter, damp the filter media for about 10 minutes in cold water.
