As well as being market leaders in the supply and manufacture of new Filter Presses, Latham International also specialise in the field of Filter Press Refurbishment and Upgrade. We take many presses in part exchange for larger new presses, in addition to the purchase of redundant plant. This currently accounts for approximately 20 % of our business. Additionally we have a large range of fully refurbished press feed pumps.

• Complete breakdown of unit, shot blast & re-finishing of press skeleton
• Refurbishment or replacement of hydraulic system
• Replacement of Filter Media
• Replacement of Filter Plates with recessed or mixed membrane polypropylene plates
• Refurbishment or replacement of Control System

Upgrade

• Installation of latest Plate Moving Mechanism
• Installation of latest Hold Back Device
• Installation of an Automatic Cake Discharge System
• Installation of an Automatic Cloth Washing Machine
• Installation of Multiple Cake Discharge System, reducing discharge time

Client Filter Press Upgrade

All the above Refurbishments & Upgrades can additionally be carried out on an existing Client’s Filter Press. Often without the need for the unit to be removed from site.
