For many quarries the large volumes of slurry produced from the washing plant will at some point create a problem. Foster Yeoman’s Glensanda site was one of them! The solution was a complete Latham International dewatering package including Press Building, Filter Presses, holding tanks, conveyors, pipework & valves, MCC etc. to dewater a total of 85 TPH of solids. After thickening to approx. 35 % the filter presses are today creating cakes, each weighing some 400 Kg and with a solids content of +75 % (w/w). Contact our sales team for further information!
